Call for fixed media pieces as part of KcEMA’s 2021-2022 Video Project Series.
Project Overview:
KcEMA’s 2021-22 season is a series of music videos featuring performers and composers from Kansa City and the Greater Plains area. KcEMA is highlighting the unique and engaging talents of KC area artists involved in electronic music & media. The videos are unique artistic pieces integrating dance, audio, and video, not archival footage of live performance. The chosen piece will be choreographed by Nora Burkitt, and a unique video created with a local Kansas City filmmaker (TBD). The video will be uploaded to Facebook and YouTube, and receive marketing and promotion by KcEMA.

Terms/Deadlines
Deadline in April 1st, 11:59pm CST
Pieces must be between 8-10 minutes in length
Author of the piece must be the composer submitting, and the composer should have all rights to samples/materials. KcEMA is not liable for any issues regarding copyright infringement.
Awards
Winner of the call will receive $200
Winner will have their piece choreographed and video recorded for our music video project series
Winner will be able to use the videos for any free and promotional use
Ex: embedding the YouTube video on a personal site, sending to other competitions, etc.
