The University of Missouri -- Kansas City Conservatory, UMKC Musica Nova, and Kansas City Electronic Music and Arts Alliance present acclaimed new music chamber group loadbang in a virtual event. 2020 has been a year. This concert was originally planned to end the UMKC Conservatory and KcEMA seasons in May. Instead of finishing the seasons with a bang, we’re sending out the year! Six Kansas City area composers were chosen to write new works for loadbang. Instead of a series of live concerts in Kansas City, loadbang presents a concert from Oktaven audiO in NYC. Join us for this premiere performance! Presented thanks to ArtsKC, The Martha Lee Cain Tranby Fund for New Music, and supported in part by the Particia and Howard Barr Institute for America Composition Studies at UMKC.
